Hi Diana - I worked with my friend about 10 years ago when she was dealing with this. I'm happy to say that she and her husband have two beautiful, healthy twin girls now. Please don't give up. It might help to view your quest as advocating for yourself rather than as being "desperate" since a positive attitude is very helpful in overcoming problems. It certainly has been for me and other cancer patients that I know, and it makes life a lot more pleasant.
