Jen,

Do you exercise regularly? That is one of the best ways ever of keeping stress from hurting your body. Anything from cardio to strength training to yoga, as long as you do it regularly, will help.

How is your diet? Do you get good protein, fruits and veggies? Or is your diet more carb-based? Do you drink a lot of caffeine or alcohol? Do you smoke?

Deep breathing does help when you are about to lose your temper. You should try to breathe from your diaphragm -- in other words, breathing so you can see your stomach rise and fall -- and take slow, deep, cleansing breaths.

Has anger always been a problem for you? Or is there something recently that has made things more stressful than usual?
