Hi my son is only 2 1/2 years old. He has a round patch on his upper right shoulder on his back. He got the patch about 3 weeks ago...we thought it was ringworm.... then about 3 days later he broke out in a rash and its covering his entire body even his forehead ... but we took him to the dr. She tried prednisone. ...but now she tells me its just a viral infection and it will heal on its own. This is the only thing I can find close to what he has and still no signs of it clearing up. Hes not itchy but he is very red. Can someone help?!
