Many schools and clinics tend to be very busy - booking out months in advance and have a waiting list, so you would be wise to book the appointment for 3 months so you have one. You can always cancel it if can get in sooner someplace else. Google clinics and schools in your area to see what else might be available as well as affordable or ask a local oral surgeon for advice in the meantime.
