Hi Anon (July 15th, 20 year-old),

Are you making up the pills that you miss?

It is so important if you forget pills, that you use a condom for the next 7 days after your missed pills. Women can forget pills, and it is difficult to be 100% compliant when taking them consistently and correctly every single day. However, the concern is when women don't take pills PLUS choose not to use a back-up form of protection (condom) that can really increase your chances of pregnancy.

The pill is 99% effective at preventing pregnancy only when used consistently and correctly every time. I want you to be safe, and not worry about an unwanted pregnancy, so if you miss pills, the effectiveness rate of your pill significantly decreases. If you, in addition, do not use a condom, you are at a much higher risk for an unintended pregnancy.

I hope you are doing OK...you asked for my help, and I wanted to give you the best information so that you can not have this additional worry and stress in the future!
