Hi,
No---please read what I wrote above. The white discharge is normal throughout your cycle (your cycle is not your period; your period is one part of your cycle. Your cycle is from "Day 1"--the first day of your period-- to the next "first day" of your next period). You have hormones working in your body every day, and every day that is your "cycle".

The discharge is normal for women, and is called cervical mucus. It can also be from sexual arousal.

Does that make more sense?

There is no way to "make" your period begin. I'm so sorry you are worried, but the only thing you can do is wait until your period begins, and trust in your test results. Do something fun to take your mind off of your late period. You most likely will have more late periods in your future, so you can practice now with stress management skills and know that worrying will not make your period come faster. Try to relax, have fun, use this time to reflect on being healthy and taking care of yourself.

I know that's not the answer you were looking for, but you can really use this time while you "wait" for some positive self-reflection, or just relax, or just have fun with your friends! Do you like to write in a diary/journal, draw, paint or do anything creative?
