I won't tell you to "go to the doctor"! :-)

Can you tell us more about this pain? My first inclination is that it is period-related, since it occurs before your period...even a few days before. This can be normal, as many women do experience a wide variety of pre-menstrual symptoms.

If you could describe your pain more in-depth:
- Is the pain sharp, stabbing, dull, ache, travels to other parts, cramping, etc?
- How long does the pain last?
- Is the pain felt in your bladder, uterus, ovary...or can you tell?
- Is it a muscle pain, a nerve pain...or can you tell?
- Does the pain occur before every period, 2 days before? Does it ever change? Do you ever have a period without the pain beforehand?
- Does the pain ever occur during other times in your cycle?

Can you describe your periods:
- Are they regular cycle length (21-35 days between first day of each period)
- Are they ever extremely painful, or do you experience excessive bleeding or other symptoms?

This does not sound like a kidney stone...I am curious why you think it is? Kidney stone pain usually is felt in your back, and would not be associated with your period in this manner. Have you had problems with your urinary tract in the past?
