Many things can cause swollen lymph nodes. Infection, such as a sinus or tonsil infection that makes the nodes in your neck swell is a common example that you may have experienced. Inflammation is another possibility.

If you have a breast lump, you really need to have it checked out. The same goes for swollen lymph nodes. You may just need some antibiotics, or you may need a mammogram. The problem is you don't know what you need until you get a diagnosis and for that you must see a health care provider.

Please call your provider and make an appointment today. If it is an infection, the longer you have it the harder it may be to treat. That goes for most any health issue. Please get checked out and let us know how you are.
