Anon - It sounds like you're saying that you've pretty much ruled out this being a cardiac condition. Since your pain has involved the area near your ears, and your neck, have you considered seeing a neurologist? These doctors are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of nervous system disorders, including diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. A neurologist would take your medical history and perform exams focused on the nerves of the head and neck to determine whether some type of nervous system disorder is causing your symptoms. It sounds like the frequency is increasing so you should definitely pursue additional avenues to determine the cause. Please let us know what you learn.
