I'm 10-21, so it's been a while. In the months after my procedure I needed some meds as I was flowing pretty heavy on my periods. Nope, they didn't go away, lol. After about 4 months things evened out and I have regular, lightish periods now. I would say that healing and getting to 'normal' again took a while. Still worth it to me. Hope you start feeling better soon.
