Several common foods can increase levels of hormones, such as estrogen and prolactin, that directly govern the size and shape of breast tissue. Although no long-term studies have evaluated the safety or efficacy of a breast-enhancing diet, some women turn to estrogenic foods as an inexpensive, natural alternative to cosmetic surgery.
Soybeans is one food that make breast bigger, contain estrogen-like compounds known as isoflavones, according to the U.S. National Institutes of Health. Although scientists do not entirely understand the relationship between isoflavones and breast health, these compounds may theoretically stimulate the growth of new breast tissue. Minimally processed soy foods, including tofu and edamame, have higher levels of isoflavones than soy burgers and soy milk.
