thanks for the advice.

Just to follow up - It turns out I am RH negative as well as have A negative blood type. My husband is RH positive and my doctor believes that the baby was RH positive as well so my body was trying to create an immunity towards the babies cells. Which is potentially what caused my miscarriage. My HCG level yesterday was a 6 so pretty low and today my doctor gave me a RhoGam shot to help prevent this going forward but obviously more tests will need to be done, and my doctor pretty much told me shes going to treat my next pregnancy as a high risk.

I know now that faint pink discharge is a warning and you should call your doctor if you are concerned at all. Just ask what they think... its better to be safe than sorry. Also, FIND out your blood type before pregnancy and make sure your OB is aware of it - Especially if its a negative blood type. RH negative only affects around 15% of people but its still important. At least I understand my miscarriage a little better...
