Thank God I saw this thread. My daughter also has strawberry hemangioma on the left lip of her vagina. It appeared days after she was born, as she grows it became sore. Doctors said it's common to babies born small. At 2months it started bleeding lightly, few days later she didn't stop crying until I saw a big hole at the lower portion of her genitals. Rushed her to the doctor and found out that it grew a puss and it popped causing extreme pain. It was a nightmare bec she was very small and fragile. I don't want her to go thru that pain again. We used boiled guava leaves to clean the open wound and for faster healing. Since then,we've been vigilant changing her diapers putting creams and making sure it's not too dry and not too moist. hemangioma seems to be diminishing but I really hope the whole thing goes away without surgery. Now trying grapeseed oil (oral and direct to skin) and crossing my fingers. Looking for another doctor as well for 2nd opinion.
