I have endometriosis both on my left and right side of my ovaries and am still being treated. My gyno is telling me that he will be doing a laparotomy.
I don't know if this will help but to me it has, if you have facebook there is a network on there for Endometriosis and you can read everyone's experience in endo surgery. It is called Endometriosis Network of Toronto aka T.E.N.T.
