I am working with my pain management group and have found some relief from a newer narcotic pain medication called Nucynta. I am able to use it only as I need to. This is in addition to my Ultram ER everyday.
As for Creon, that's one I haven't heard anything about. I will ask my rheumatologist when I see her in a month. It's not unusual for a few people to get relief when taking other non-label drugs, but I don't think this one is going to help with the pain directly. It may help with IBS which causes me a lot of abdominal pain and after reading the description of Creon, it may help me since I've had gastric bypass.
I'll post again if I find anything or when I speak with my specialists. Hope you find relief soon!
