Each pack of Postinor 2 contains two tablets. Postinor 2 can help prevent pregnancy if the first tablet is taken within 72 hours or 3 days of having unprotected sex. The tablets are more effective if they are taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex. The second tablet must be taken 12 hours but no more than 16 hours after the first tablet.
Is this how you took it? The pill is most effective when taken as soon as possible.
Or did you take two packs of Postinor 2 within 3 days ( in total 4 pills within a 3 day period)? If so, consult your gynecologist regarding how this impacts your hormonal balance.
