Some women may experience discomfort in the area of the vagina or uterus following intercourse. Also, if this was your first sexual experience. you may have had pain because your hymen was still intact.
The symptoms of having a sore throat, loss of appetite and feeling feverish sound like a virus. Did you actually have an elevated temperature? Can you describe the facial swelling? Is there a rash? This symptom sounds like an allergic reaction. Some women will have an allergic reaction to semen when it gets on their skin.
From my knowledge the whole package of your symptoms doesn't sound like a response to a first sexual experience. But, if you are still concerned, I suggest that you visit your healthcare provider.
