Excuse me? I don't want to start an argument, but I went to catholic school when I was a kid. I also went to bible study after school as a child. So do not tell me to spend "some time" in it. I don't know if you know, but the bible was written by more than 40 different authors, over a very long period of time. The bible was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, it was not written by God himself. The bible has been revised so many times, and was written over 1800 years by so many different people, again not by god himself. Adam and Eve sinned..We all sin. We all do not follow all of his rules. It's the way god made us, that's why we are here. To learn. If we were perfect, if YOU were perfect and followed every single "rule", we would not be here, you would not be here. We would be in heaven with God himself. God is the only perfect being/energy in this universe. God gave us free will for a reason. To choose how we want to live our lives. God does not judge, and he forgives. He wants us to learn to do the same. God made us to evolve, to learn over time, so every generation improves, and to accept. Not to start hate-crimes, and discriminate. Poor children are committing suicide because other ignorant students are making comments, and abusing them for being gay or being perceived as gay, that is not okay. The bible is controversial, and it also will be, since it took so long to be written, and was written by so many people, no one will ever know what God really said. The bible does not directly say "homosexuality is unnatural", it says it is "natural" that a man and a woman come together to create a new life. That's all. The bible is open to interpretation. Maybe you should spend somtime in it to learn not to judge. If God didn't want gays in the world (which the bible doesn't say anything directly about it, it's the way biblical ignorance interprets it), he would've made sure not to put homosexuality on Earth in the first place. God knows what he is doing. I agree with everything Betty1988 says, too. She has her beliefs and stated them nicely, and I appreciated that :). What I didn't appreciate was you telling me to "spend some time in it".
Thanks.
