Thank you for your question and welcome to EmpowHer. The rule of thumb about taking the Pill is you have to start a new pack if you miss 4 pills in a row, therefore, you are at risk for pregnancy. At this point, you must wait until you miss a period and take a pregnancy test. If you are within 72 hours of your unprotected sexual contact, you do have the choice of taking Plan B. If not, you must wait it out.
