So much depends on context. When I first lost my hair, I had just moved to a new location, so did not have a community of friends or acquaintances. Our children were recently independent so I didn't have the demands of motherhood to refocus my energy. Now I am very busy with my business and most importantly, completely occupied and preoccupied with caring for my Mom as she goes through lymphoma. I just had all 8 siblings at my home for 2 weeks of family reunion. Who has time or energy to worry about hair!? And that's a good thing.
Thanks for writing.
