You are so right about the anxiety. It's anxiety that prompts individuals with my genes to join such a clinical trial, anxiety that increases with the detection of a cyst, anxiety, anxiety, anxiety. And yet, the alternative is to not look, not monitor, not wanting to know, only to face that which we most dread when it's too late to do anything about it. And yes, it is exhausting. Trust me, far too often, when I should be fast asleep, I am researching on behalf of my health.
