is so telling and truthful. When I heard the words, "you have malignant cancer which has metastasized", it was as if someone had just handed me my own death certificate. But just as your grandson takes on any physical obstacle as a mountain which he delights in summitting, cancer became my mountain. I was determined to get to the other side---remission. And I did!
From helplessness, we can indeed overcome and be helpful to others who need to get to the other side of their mountain.
