Sorry about the needle pain! This is a normal expectancy when you have blood drawn, unfortunately. Most people just leave it alone and within a few days the pain or discomfort will be gone. However, if the pain is that bad then you can get an ice pack (or a frozen bag of peas) and apply it to the injection site for 10-15 minutes, then off for 15 minutes. Do this in cycles of 3 then wait at least an hour to do it again. You can also take Tylenol or Motrin for the pain.
