Where was this 10 months ago..... I placed my 3 day old son 8 months ago. Wish I would have found this. The agency I went through did a lot of 'misleading things'.... When the spoke of 'open' adoption, they really meant 'semi-open'. Thankfully my son's APs are very open. This is very helpful to mothers who are considering placing a child. If any mother who is considering placing would like to contact me, I will share the good, the bad, and the ugly of adoption. I will honestly answer any question you have, and be here to support you whether you decide to parent or to place. I have a new mission to ensure all that are considering adoption are 'fully informed' of what is all means - as there was no one there for me to trust, and my agency did not share all they should have.....including important information that would have had me keep my son. I am now living with a new purpose - to inform.
