If you had your last period when it was expected and have it again now when it was expected, then this is your period. Random vaginal bleeding can be spotting or bleeding for one day but is much lighter and definitely not regular. You cannot be pregnant and have your period-- this is a misconception. Women who believe they have their period while pregnant are actually experiencing uterine bleeding, which is again not specific to the day your period is supposed to arrive-it can occur at any time of the month.
