Sorry to hear you're not feeling well.  Have you taken an Epsom Salt bath?  This should help both your cold and your low back.  If you dont have any, you can buy them at your local drugstore (CVS, Wallgreens).  You can use more than the allotted 2 cups.  I would double it with 4 cups or handfuls and soak for a good 20 minutes.  You want to be sweating (epsom salts help to detox the body).

After you take your bath and your muscles are more warmed up, try doing gentle pelvic tilts by slowly tucking your tail bone towards the ground and then toward the ceiling. Cat Cow is always a good one for pelvic stilts and warming up the low back. Focus on the movement in your hips and where it connects to the low back.

Stretching your legs (runner's lunge stretch, v-sit, etc.) can also help free up the low back.  Oftentimes when our legs and hips are tight our low back follows.

Also, have you been to a muscular/massage therapist?  And Chiropractor?  If you do not have one you regularly go to, ask around and see if anyone you know (and trust) goes to a good practitioner.

Hope all of this helps!

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
