You may have been ovulating but it may be a better idea to calculate when you ovulate based on recording your cycles every month and then having sex every other day that week as opposed to waiting until the discharge and cramping start. Usually you want to have sex before this happens (sperm survives inside the body for up to 5 days) making conception a higher possibility.

Hi Anonymous,
You may have been ovulating but it may be a better idea to calculate when you ovulate based on recording your cycles every month and then having sex every other day that week as opposed to waiting until the discharge and cramping start. Usually you want to have sex before this happens (sperm survives inside the body for up to 5 days) making conception a higher possibility.
With that being said, conception is still possible and if you had sex on the 5th then you want to give it 2 weeks before you test for pregnancy. Early pregnancy symptoms are found here: https://www.empowher.com/pregnancy/content/early-pregnancy-symptoms-and-causes
Hope this helps and good luck trying to conceive!
