Hello Anonymous,
The bleeding which lasted for four days was withdrawal bleeding and means Nordette was effective in preventing pregnancy.
Changes in the menstrual cycle, such as the next period starting earlier or later than expected, is a side effect of an emergency contraceptive.
However, being late by one month is longer than normally reported.
Have you had unprotected intercourse since the withdrawal bleeding?
You may want to check with your gynecologist or primary care physician about this.
Regards, Maryann
