If you rinse a washcloth then there should be no sperm on it. For hygienic purposes, however, it would be best to rinse it with soap and water or just throw it in the washer.
Sperm, once outside, the body will not survive for more than a few hours to a day at most. So, if this was 3 days later, then the sperm was already either washed off or dead.
