I'm sorry to hear about your roller coaster ride. It can be very, very frustrating not to know what is going on in your body. Sadly, many autoimmune disorders can be difficult to diagnose. A positive ANA antibody means that your body has launched an attack against your own cells, suggesting that you may have an autoimmune condition. Do you have a family history of either lupus, rheumatoid arthritis or scleroderma?
Be patient and don't give up on finding the cause, even if it means having to see multiple doctors.
