A biopsy site will be randomly chosen. Vulvar biopsy is performed to diagnose lesions of the vulvar epithelium.
Has your gynecologist considered contact dermatitis as a possible diagnosis?
The vulvar itching and irritation can be signs of an allergic reaction. Possible triggers may be a new brand of soap, synthetic undergarments, new brand of laundry detergent or a new brand of pantyliner.
