Congratulations on your pregnancy! It is very difficult to tell whether the medications used for your tooth extraction will actually cause harm to your baby-- under other circumstances the dentist would just wait until after delivery to perform any invasive procedures. However, you will still be undergoing normal routine care with your OB/GYN which include ultrasounds and blood work that can detect major anomalies. All of the medications given to you have individual pregnancy risk categories. You can look each of them up on Drugs.com, however, I highly advise against it. At this point stress can only do more harm than good and you should enjoy your pregnancy and take good care of yourself and your precious little one. Take your prenatal vitamins, follow a healthy diet, go to all of your doctors appointments and give your baby lots of love.
