Hello Anonymous,

When an ovarian cyst ruptures, internal bleeding results. Blood acts as an irritant and causes pain. sometimes severe pain.

I would wait to have sexual intercourse and engage in vigorous exercise, such as wake boarding, until the pain subsides completely.
