Listen to your PCP. Remember that an elevated granulocyte count is also an indicator of an infection. There are other factors that have to come in in order for your doctor to be worried about Leukemia. If it isn't Lyme disease, then your doctors will rule out other possible conditions-- that is why you were referred to an endocrinologist and a rheumatologist. We cannot diagnose you and it seems that your doctor is doing the right thing by sending you out for further testing.
