There is no way of knowing if it is an infection, without you seeing your doctor. But by the symptoms you describe, it does sounds like it might be. The fact your breasts hurt, doesn't mean you are pregnant. If at any point you had unprotected sex, while on your fertile days. Your chances for pregnancy to occur are possible. You will need to take a home pregnancy test, if you are concerned about being pregnant.
