Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. It is difficult to explain what is supposed to be normal as we are all different and our periods tend to be different as well. What I can tell you Anonymous is that I also have 5 day periods, sometimes shorter that tend to drift off in the end, slowly come back then disappear for the month so what you explained is no different than myself. However, if you are concerned - you should always check up with your treating physician.
