I can appreciate your concerns about this variety of symptoms and are wondering what is the cause.
If the only time that you had unprotected sex since your last period was a week and a half ago, it would be too early for pregnancy symptoms and a bit too early to test for pregnancy.
Only during pregnancy is the hormone known as hCG produced. It is secreted by the cells that form the placenta. Levels of hCG can be detected in blood about 11 days following unprotected sex and in urine about 12 to 14 days after conception.
I suggest you wait for your period for this month to start. If you are late one week or more, take a home pregnancy test. Or you could contact your physician, schedule an appointment to discuss your symptoms and have a blood pregnancy test done at that time.
