Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. The amount of sleep we need depends on age and activity level as well as your health and lifestyle habits. During times of stress our body may require more sleep. Most experts recommend that adult should sleep between 7-9 hours each night. But, not everyone is the same and do not require the same amount of sleep in order to feel good the next day.
