You seem anxious about getting pregnant and I agree you should not. One more thing you can do is to consult with a fertility specialist now for the following two benefits:
1. Screening of any general health or genetic issues that may affect the pregnancy or the baby
2. Testing for fertility factors: ovarian reserve, ovulation, fallopian tubes and husband sperm analysis.
If all tests are negative keep trying for another 6 months or so. Trying means having intercourse after the period every other day (3 times a week). There is no need to time your ovulation in any way. This will reduce your stress and also timing of ovulation is not proven to increase your odds of getting pregnant beyond frequent intercourse.
