Considering your only protection is the patch, and you have been about a week late, pregnancy is possible.
Implantation bleeding is scanty, pink to brownish vaginal discharge. It occurs about 10 to 14 days following conception. Unlike your period, implantation bleeding generally lasts for a short time and is usually much lighter than menstrual bleeding.
If your period is late by more than one week, take a home pregnancy test.
