Anonymous, I know how you feel. I have battled brain and breast cancer. As a consequence of brain cancer, my forehead bone was destroyed. It was 2 1/2 years before reconstructive surgery was done to insert a prosthetic forehead. One year ago, I had a right mastectomy. Two months ago, I started breast reconstructive surgery.
It is hard to feel sexy when you feel "unattractive".
It will take time and loving support. Sex is as much an emotional act as a physical act. Spending a quiet evening cuddling is a good start. Take baby steps until you are back to where you both want to be.
