Some brands say 5 days before a missed period-so you could test as early as today. If you test on the day your period is due, then that will definitely be accurate. if you decide to test today or tomorrow, you could still get a false negative and would need to retest on Friday.
I have also hear the better the brand, the sooner the result..so don't buy the generic if you decide to test early. First Response has a lot of great reviews.
