A common symptom of emergency birth control such as Levonelle is having an irregular period. Sometimes it can cause periods to be later or earlier than usual. That sounds like what has happened to you with the earlier period.
Emergency birth control is very effective, especially if taken within 72 hours of having unprotected sex so that is good you were able to take it so soon. However, if you plan to continue having unprotected sex, I highly suggest using a form of birth control like the pill or patch. Emergency birth control should only really be used in case of emergency than as a regular birth control.
I think you should count your next period from the Levonelle period. But it also may be a good idea to count from both your first period and the Levonelle period until your period becomes more regular again.
