Since the lump was benign, you do not need to have any other special examinations done. If you are younger than 50 years old, your doctors will tell you how often you need to have a your regular mammogram. If you are older than 50 you need to have a mammogram every 2 years.
Bruises do not cause lumps, because bruises are caused by burst blood vessels than heal fairly quick.
