No evidence of a lump or mass and no changes in the size, shape, or contour of the breast is reassuring.
Did your physician think muscle strain could be the cause?
I can suggest avoiding strenuous exercise and applying a warm compress to the area. If you still do not get relief, contact your physician again. You may have torn a ligament or strained a muscle.
