Vaginal dryness is a side effect of having a hysterectomy. But the burning you mention is cause for concern.
Something internally or externally is irritating your vagina and causing the burning sensation when you urinate. Even something as simple as wiping too hard or the type of toilet paper can create discomfort.
Different types of irritation like itching and burning and odor can be signs of infection, etc.
The hormonal changes that happen after having a hysterectomy can cause our body to respond in different ways than we are use to. I would suggest making and appointment and sharing how long this has been going on as well as any other changes with your health care provider.
