One of the most common types of breast lumps in women are benign (non-cancerous) causes such as a cyst or a fibroadenoma (a benign tumor). Have you had a biopsy to done to determine the status of lump?
Cryoablation is a technology that is being used for breast fibroadenomas. The process uses intense cold to kill fibroadenomas. Instead of removing a fibroadenoma with a traditional lumpectomy, cryoablation simply freezes the lump to death so that healthy tissue can take its place.
Fibroadenoma cryoablation can be done in one office visit, takes less than 30 minutes, and results in a tiny scar.
