Anytime you are having intercourse and not using any form of contraceptive, there is alway a chance of pregnancy. However, you could be experiencing an irregular menstrual cycle in which case your hormones are out of balance.
Are you under a lot of stress? Have you had an increase or decrease in your weight?
Another possible cause is pituitary tumors (benign /non-cancerous) tumors. They can cause irregular periods and missed periods in pre-menopausal women.
Call and make an appointment with your doctor to begin the discovery process.
