It is common during adolescent years to have irregular and/or missed periods. The reason is because your body is still reaching a hormonal balance. It does not necessarily mean you are pregnant, or that you have any health issues. In your case pregnancy is not an option because you have not had intercourse.
It is not necessary to have a regular period unless you are experiencing severe symptoms such as prolonged, very heavy or frequent bleeding. That can indicated a serious problem that needs treatment.
