Many women mistake it for the start of their period. It is pink to brown spotting, lasts about two to three days and never increases to a flow.
Please reach out to your gynecologist to report this. Considering you have had frequent intercourse since your last period, you may be pregnant. Your physician can order blood tests, including a blood pregnancy test, to check your hormone levels.
